Sorano Commerce

We move goods from where they are made to where they sell.

Four services that work as one chain: we buy through authorized channels, land the goods in the United States at a known cost, place them with the right buyer, and reorder on what actually sold.

The four services

Each one answers a different question.

Most companies that talk to us need one of these, not all four. They are listed in the order goods actually travel, so you can see where you would come in.

01 Distribution

Authorized Distribution

For brand owners who want a controlled U.S. channel.

You sell to us, or to a distributor you authorize, and we represent the line inside the policy you set. The point is not volume at any price — it is a channel you can audit and would renew.

  • Pricing policy respected; we do not discount your brand to fix our margin.
  • Purchase orders and invoices kept, chain of custody available on request.
  • Sell-through and channel condition reported back, including bad months.

02 Sourcing

Wholesale & Imports

For distributors and manufacturers with a catalogue to place.

Case- and pallet-scale purchasing from manufacturers and authorized distributors, with an active Japan-to-United States corridor. We quote on landed cost, never on the headline unit price.

  • Incoterm agreed up front — EXW, FOB or DDP — and priced accordingly.
  • Minimum order and lead time in writing before the first purchase order.
  • First order sized to prove the operation, then reorders on measured demand.

03 Channels

Retail & Online Channel Placement

For brands and distributors who need the goods in front of buyers.

Placement with U.S. retail partners and online marketplaces. Listing quality, product data and brand protection are part of the service, not something the brand has to police afterwards.

  • Product data, images and copy matched to what each channel requires.
  • Category, fee structure and eligibility checked before anything is bought.
  • Price monitored against the policy you set, not against whoever is cheapest.
What we check first
04 Logistics

Import Logistics & Compliance

For anyone who needs goods to arrive, cleared and documented.

Freight, customs clearance, inspection, prep and warehousing coordinated into one number per unit. A U.S.-registered entity as the counterparty, with the paperwork a bank, a channel or an auditor asks for.

  • Landed cost per unit: product, freight, duties, insurance, prep.
  • Restricted and regulated goods identified before purchase, not at the dock.
  • Documents kept per shipment: invoice, packing list, entry, proof of delivery.

How the chain runs

Five steps, in this order, every time.

  1. 01Source. We find the manufacturer or authorized distributor and open the account properly — no grey-market middlemen in between.
  2. 02Screen. The line goes through a written 37-point review. Demand, competition, restrictions and margin, in that order. Most lines stop here, and that is the point.
  3. 03Land. Freight, duties and prep are priced into a single landed cost per unit before any money moves.
  4. 04Place. Goods go to the channel where the demand actually is, listed correctly the first time.
  5. 05Reorder. We reorder on what sold, not on what we hoped would sell, and report the difference.
Before we commit capital

The 37-point review, in six questions.

Every product line we consider is written up against the same checklist. It exists so that a bad line is rejected on paper instead of in inventory — and it is the same discipline a brand is buying when it appoints us.

Demand

Does it actually sell?

Unit movement over a full year, not a good month. Seasonal lines are read across the cycle, not the last 90 days.

Competition

Who else is in the channel?

How many sellers, whether one of them dominates, and whether the brand owner is already selling directly.

Restrictions

Are we allowed to sell it?

Category gating, regulated and hazardous goods, serialisation and anti-counterfeit programs — checked before purchase, every order.

Cost

What does it really cost landed?

Product, freight, duties, insurance, prep and channel fees. The headline price from a supplier is an input, not the answer.

Return

Does it clear the threshold?

A minimum return on the capital committed, and it has to hold at the lowest price the line traded at over the period — not only at today's price.

Risk

What breaks it?

Supplier concentration, a brand changing policy, stock that ages into storage costs. Written down before we buy, not after.

Brand owner, distributor, manufacturer or buyer — the first conversation is the same: what you have, what you need, and whether the numbers hold.
